Chris Allen was raised in a logging camp on Adams Lake, and has never forgotten that the act of building has consequences for the land.   He studied regionalist design at Dalhousie University in Halifax, and returned to the Okanagan to practice in 2003.  His design work focusses on carefully placed, energy efficient buildings.
