Mark Ankenman, Architect AIBC, MRAIC, is the founder of Ankenman Associates Architects.  Mark has practiced in the architectural field since the early 1970’s, with over 45 years as a principal architect. In this time he has been involved in more than 1000 projects of varying size and complexity in all market sectors. When the firm was first established, Mark was involved in all aspects of project delivery, but it was his passion for good design that brought continued success and growth to the firm. Mark remains involved with every AAAI project. He focuses on conceptual design, client liaison, and advancing projects through the ever changing and complex approvals process.  Mark is currently semi-retired.

AAAI has practiced throughout the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island in both private and public sectors. Commissions have included residential, education, recreation, health care, institutional, commercial, hospitality and master planning projects.
