I have been in the timber industry for 25 years, my experience spanning from automated and digital manufacturing, sales, marketing and management. I’ve spent much of my career in the leadership of the design and construction of some of Canada’s most innovative timber structures, steering design teams through the challenges of concept creation, constructability, and budgeting.

In 2017, I partnered with my colleague Steve Stevenson to form Kinsol Timber Systems, a heavy timber carpentry business specializing in the prefabrication and installation of challenging timber structures. Our team of specialist timber framers have a breadth of experience encompassing all aspects of timber work from mass timber structures, architectural beam work and traditional joinery, to commercial and institutional projects across multiple sectors.
